Zach Glaser is a partner in the firm. Zach practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate law, intellectual property and employment defense. Mr. Glaser represents businesses large and small and provides advice in all aspects of business law. Zach has successfully represented businesses in a wide range of matters including complex commercial litigation, patent disputes, trademark registration and prosecution matters, employment discrimination, wage and hour, restrictive covenants, union grievances, union organization attempts and whistleblower actions. Mr. Glaser also represents businesses in transactional matters. Zach has successfully drafted and negotiated hundreds of contracts for his clients including mergers and acquisitions, asset purchase agreements, license agreements as well as corporate governance matters.
Zach received his bachelor of science degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park and his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Stetson University College of Law, cum laude. While at the University of Maryland he was a Dean’s list student and a Scholar-Athlete while playing for the University of Maryland Football Team. During law school, Mr. Glaser received book awards for the highest grade in his section in Secured Transactions, Delaware’s Influence on Corporate law and International Sales and Arbitration. As a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board Mr. Glaser won awards for both his writing and oral advocacy while competing in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration competition in Vienna, Austria, the second largest moot court competition in the world.
Prior to joining Bennett, Jacobs & Adams, while in law school Zach served as the sole legal intern to the general counsel of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mr. Glaser is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and was previously the co-chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Community Services Committee. Originally from Upstate New York, Zach lives in Tampa now with his wife, Sarah, and their two 9-year old puppies.
